How I Monetised My Site To Make Me Commissions On a Regular Basis

In today’s post, I wanted to share one of the first ways I monetised my site, MichellePurcell.com.

Since doing this, it has allowed me to make commissions passively on a daily basis.

It’s something anyone can do, regardless if you’re using WordPress or a free website like Wix.

So how did I monetise my site to make commissions on a regular basis?

Well if you read any of my recent posts, you may have seen across my Evergreen Wealth Formula review.

If not, I recommend to check it out, especially if you’re in the market for a course on internet marketing.

Anyway, the Evergreen Wealth Formula was a course I purchased and I decided to review it, obviously.

One of the perks of becoming a member was getting access to the affiliate program.

This allowed me to monetise the review with my affiliate link, meaning I would get paid a commission if anyone bought through my affiliate link.

Now, I didn’t expect to make a lot of money, if any, but I was pleasantly surprised, I must admit.

It started of slowly, but as I climbed the Google search results, I started to gradually generate more and more commissions.

It’s now at the point where I’m making sales practically everyday… Yay!

And remember, the income this generates is completely passive, meaning you do the work once and that’s it.

Now if this is something you’re interested in doing, there’s a few things to keep in mind.

The first thing is to make sure you have access to the product you’re reviewing.

Too many marketers simply lie to their visitors, and not only is this unethical, but how is your review going to be accurate if you’ve never actually had access?

I know this sounds obvious but a lot of marketers do this because of how profitable this method is.

In fact, I saw tons of fake reviews when researching theĀ Evergreen Wealth Formula and these sites instantly lost their creditibity with me.

So please, don’t do that, you don’t want to build your business on lies, do you?

The second thing you’ll need to make this work is to understand how SEO works.

Understanding how SEO works will allow you to rank high in the Google search results where the vast majority of the traffic is.

Just keep in mind it take a while to get ranked in Google, especially if you’re trying to get ranked for a competitive keyword.

So you need to be patient when it comes to SEO but it can be worth it as the traffic is quality and it has a “set and forget” element to it.

So if you’ve got your own website, whether it’s a free or paid one, then definitely consider reviewing products in your market.

Not only is this a great way of making money but it can also build your reputation and brand as they’re more likely to check out the rest of your site on a regular basis if they found your review useful.

If you’ve got any questions about this, feel free to leave a comment down below and I’ll do my best to answer them for you.

Thanks for reading and I hope to see you in my next post.
